Carver Community Center of Florala, in Covington County Alabama. The Association is a non profit 501(C3) Organization. Our meetings are held every 2nd Saturday at 10am at the Center. Please join us.

Carver Community Center of Florala is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Funds that we raise are used in 1) events and programs that benefit the communities of Florala and Lockhart, Alabama, and Flowersview, Florida, and 2) in maintaining our building, equipment, and grounds. We receive no governmental funds (to date) and rely solely on small grants and donations from organizations, and the public through an annual membership drive, and from the Black History Gala, and general donations provided by you. Your donations are tax-deductible if you file the long form. We appreciate all that you do to help us.
Carver keeps records of all incoming funds and outgoing expenditures and those records are reviewed at our business meetings which are on the 2nd Saturday in the month at 10 AM. You are invited - no - encouraged to attend our general meetings.
Carver does not allow solicitation in its name without written approval. Ask for a letter of approval with Carver's letterhead and seal (the seal is being prepared).
CARVER WILL NOT ACT AS A CONDUIT OF FUNDS. ANY MONEY DONATED TO CARVER WILL BE MANAGED BY CARVER.
Motivation: This organization is dedicated to preserving the history and contributions made by the Carver Junior High School to education in Covington County and the communities thereof: and to provide a place of continuing education and improvement to young and adult members of the community.
